- Working with the marketing team to develop and implement search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings, build brand awareness, and drive sales leads
- Collaborating with and supporting the marketing team to align goals and develop holistic approaches to digital marketing strategies
- Developing, launching, and optimizing various pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns
- Partnering with the Content Marketing Manager to drive SEO in content creation and dynamic landing pages, consistently optimizing copy and campaigns for SEM
- Researching SEO recommendations and keywords to use throughout content while performing ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
- Researching and analyzing competitor advertising links and content
- Developing and implementing link building strategy and working with the web team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
- Working with the director to set and manage campaign budgets
- Setting measurable goals and monitoring daily performance metrics to understand SEO and PPC strategy performance and implementing on-going A/B and user experience testing for ads, placements and landing pages
- Tracking, reporting, and analyzing SEO and paid search campaign performance and compiling detailed reports with proactive insights in order to achieve maximum ROI
- Overseeing accounts on search platforms (Google AdWords, Bing, SEMRush etc.) and maintaining partnerships with SEO and PPC ad platforms and vendors
- Staying up to date with SEM, PPC, and SEO trends
Qualifications

qualifications

- Two years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO, SEM, and PPC strategies and campaigns
- Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
- Solid knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies
- Ability to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
- Solid comfort level analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis
- Understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools, social ad platforms, and technologies, including but not limited to:
- Google Analytics
- Google Search Console (Webmaster Tools)
- Google Keyword Planner Tool
- SEMrush, Moz Research Tools, WebTrends (or similar)
- Google AdWords
- Bing Ads
- Facebook for Business
- LinkedIn Ads
- Sprout Social (or similar)
- Familiarity with e-commerce
- Experience with bid management tools
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Familiarity with Drupal, WordPress or other content management systems
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Exceptional communication skills
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and creative with problem solving with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent ability to collaborate with internal teams
- Experience with other aspects of marketing is a plus
