About the role

BizzyCar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Web Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of our customer-facing web applications. You will be a key contributor to our team, focusing on architecting and implementing robust, scalable, and user-friendly web interfaces using Angular. This role demands a deep understanding of front-end development best practices, a passion for creating exceptional user experiences, and the ability to thrive in a distributed team environment. You will collaborate closely with designers, back-end engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality web applications that drive BizzyCar's growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

1. Angular Development and Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using Angular, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
2. Code Optimization and Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize code for efficiency, and implement best practices for front-end development.
3. Collaboration and Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members to ensure code quality and consistency.
4. Distributed Team Collaboration: Effectively communicate and collaborate with a distributed team using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) for project management, documentation, and issue tracking.
5. Feature Development and Implementation: Translate design mockups and product requirements into clean, efficient, and well-documented front-end code.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in front-end web development, with 2+ years of extensive experience specifically using Angular.
3. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related front-end technologies.
4. Experience working with distributed teams and utilizing Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) for project management and collaboration.
5. Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, with a strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
