About The Role

Scorpion is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. As a key player, you will collaborate closely with our product, marketing, and sales teams to shape and execute the go-to-market strategy for our Digital Marketing software products and services.

You will report directly to the VP of Product Marketing and leverage your strategic mindset and hands-on approach to develop a profound understanding of our business goals, market dynamics and trends, and clients' needs. This in-depth knowledge will enable you to craft impactful marketing strategies aimed at boosting revenue generation, driving widespread adoption, and contributing directly to revenue growth and customer acquisition. You will be entrusted with defining and refining product positioning and messaging and creating data-driven marketing strategies. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling content and developing impactful sales enablement tools and assets.

Your role as a Senior Product Marketing Manager extends beyond strategy formulation. You will play a pivotal role in driving the next phase of growth for Scorpion's B2B SaaS offerings. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will simplify complex technical concepts, ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders comprehend and appreciate the value of our products. Furthermore, you will develop comprehensive marketing plans supported by organizational readiness methods.

What Your Success Will Look Like
 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for specific products and services within designated verticals, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
  • Conduct market research and analysis to gain a deep understanding of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Define and refine product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target buyer personas. Simplify complex tech solutions and translate them into impactful positioning statements
  • Create compelling marketing materials, including sales enablement tools, collateral, presentations, training, and content that effectively communicate the features, benefits, and value of the products and services
  • Collaborate with product management to influence product roadmap and prioritize key features and enhancements based on market insights and customer feedback
  • Develop pricing strategies that optimize revenue generation while remaining competitive in the market
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and make data-driven recommendations for product and marketing strategies
  • Lead and execute successful product launches, ensuring cross-functional coordination and alignment across marketing, sales, and other relevant teams
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, demand, and adoption of the products and services
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the products and services, providing guidance and support to sales teams, client success teams, and other internal stakeholders
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and inform ongoing optimization efforts
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to continuously enhance product marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge

     

Who You Are And What You Bring
 

  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B marketing
  • 4+ years of proven success in SaaS product marketing-specific rolesExperience within a high-growth SaaS technology or digital marketing company is a plus
  • Technology: Extensive knowledge of the latest marketing systems and tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, Tableau, Survey Monkey, HubSpot, Seismic, Highspot, and others
  • Demonstrated experience in driving the go-to-market strategy and executing marketing initiatives for software products or services
  • Experience working closely with product management teams to influence product roadmap and articulate product features and benefits effectively
  • Proven ability to conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • A data-driven approach to inform marketing strategies and decision-making
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth
  • Ability to think critically and translate market insights into actionable marketing plans
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas and technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Proficiency in creating compelling marketing content, presentations, and sales enablement materials
  • Self-starter who can build a good rapport with internal stakeholders and peers
  • Willingness to adjust to changing priorities and adapt to new products or new projects quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, collaborating with product management, sales, and marketing teams
  • Strong leadership skills to influence stakeholders, drive alignment, and lead product launches
  • Ability to tackle multiple projects at once, synthesizing each project objective, and report on the status of projects and results to executive-level leadership
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in analyzing marketing metrics, conducting ROI analysis, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Ability to derive actionable insights from data and make data-driven recommendations

Compensation
 

  • We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
  • The base salary range is $130,000 (entry-level) - $150,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
