1. Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP and Javascript frameworks: Laravel, Drupal, React, and Vuejs. Experience with WordPress is a plus but not needed.
2. Familiarity with MacOs-based development environment and knowledge of Linux, Git, and Agile Development methodologies.
3. Understanding of web service development frameworks and methodologies including MVC, OOP, FRP, and RESTful.
4. Comfortable working with databases, with preference for SQL and MySQL.
5. Experience with Lando and/or Docker based development environments.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, versatile attitude.
7. Ability to work independently with a sense of personal responsibility.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop high-quality code for various technology stacks.
2. Work on multiple projects throughout the week.
3. Take ownership of feature development on assigned projects.
4. Prioritize and address bug fixes for clients.
5. Communicate development progress to the engineering team and clients.
6. Collaborate with other engineers to develop new features and solutions.
7. Provide creative solutions to engineering problems.
8. Work with team managers on development priorities and career advancement opportunities.
9. Contribute to a culture of quality, collaboration, and leadership in the engineering team.

11. This position is initially a contract role with potential for permanent hire. The interview process includes a Technical Skills assessment and two additional interviews before any contract offer is made.

Salary

$80,000 - $140,000 per year
