- Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP and Javascript frameworks: Laravel, Drupal, React, and Vuejs. Experience with WordPress is a plus but not needed.
- Familiarity with MacOs-based development environment and knowledge of Linux, Git, and Agile Development methodologies.
- Understanding of web service development frameworks and methodologies including MVC, OOP, FRP, and RESTful.
- Comfortable working with databases, with preference for SQL and MySQL.
- Experience with Lando and/or Docker based development environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, versatile attitude.
- Ability to work independently with a sense of personal responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality code for various technology stacks.
- Work on multiple projects throughout the week.
- Take ownership of feature development on assigned projects.
- Prioritize and address bug fixes for clients.
- Communicate development progress to the engineering team and clients.
- Collaborate with other engineers to develop new features and solutions.
- Provide creative solutions to engineering problems.
- Work with team managers on development priorities and career advancement opportunities.
- Contribute to a culture of quality, collaboration, and leadership in the engineering team.
- This position is initially a contract role with potential for permanent hire. The interview process includes a Technical Skills assessment and two additional interviews before any contract offer is made.
Salary
$80,000 - $140,000 per year
