Job Description:

SoftwareOne is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Amazon Connect Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Amazon Connect Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions using Amazon Connect, a cloud-based contact center service.

Role & Responsibilities

Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective contact center solutions using Amazon Connect.

Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve technical issues related to Amazon Connect deployments, providing timely support to ensure system stability and optimal performance.

Integration: Integrate Amazon Connect with various systems, such as CRM platforms, ticketing systems, workforce management tools, and analytics platforms, to enable seamless data exchange and enhance overall contact center functionality.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing of Amazon Connect solutions to ensure proper functionality, usability, and adherence to best practices and industry standards.

Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in contact center technologies, AWS services, and related tools to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

What you offer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Python, and Node.js required.
  • Experience in developing and implementing solutions using Amazon Connect preferred.
  • Overall AWS development/service experience including Lambda functions, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, Kinesis, Kendra, etc.
  • Experience with AWS CLI and AWS SDK, writing Infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation, writing IAM Roles using AWS security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to translate customer business requirements into technical action and work with a development team to implement those requirements.
  • Has experience in leading a development team and mentoring junior developers.
  • AWS certifications related to Amazon Connect (e.g., AWS Certified Developer - Associate) are a plus.

  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.

Target compensation for this role will be $160K (mix of base salary and bonus) and will be determined based on candidate qualifications, experience, and location.
