Description Summary: This position is responsible for managing multiple software development releases from requirements gathering to product release and for ensuring development deadlines, milestones and release dates are met by supporting team members responsible for delivering.

Essential Duties:

The duties listed below are the essential functions of this position, and they may change as the needs of the company demand. All associates are expected to do what is necessary to get the work done and to cooperate fully with their supervisor’s requests for additional or altered duties.

• Facilitate: iterations to ensure on-time deliveries, within scope by ensuring risks and issues are addressed on behalf of delivery teams. Monitor internal and external iteration dependencies, risks, and potential roadblocks.  Work ahead of deadlines to promote release success, communicating out to appropriate stakeholders with on-going status and, if necessary, options for mitigating.
• Collaborate: with teams to define scope, priority, and expected delivery of features.
• Communicate: using standardized metrics, measure and communicate release/ iteration health and delivery metrics against estimates/ expectations and timelines, risks and issues.  Establish regular release status, risk and issue communication with stakeholders.
• Coordinate: hold necessary meetings for defined delivery processes and procedures to facilitate open communication, resolution of impeding issues, and coordination of resources to remove any and all barriers to successful completion of release/ iteration.
• Governance: responsible for team process control including but not limited to managing TFS tasks, stories, etc. and Scrum processes and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Desired Education/Training/Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in Scrum Master role or leadership
• Bachelors Degree with a preferred major in IT, MIS or Computer Science  or Business.  Or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with both client facing and internal stakeholders
• Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, spreadsheets and presentation software (MS Project, MS Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, TFS)
• PMP, Six Sigma, Certified Scrum Master and other specific certifications and trainings

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to perform work on a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to travel in representing the company’s interests required.
• Ability to attend work and meetings with excellent attendance and punctuality.
