The Training Camp Assistant will aid with event logistics and communications in preparing for 2024 49ers Training Camp, as well as helping execute activations and entertainment on open camp days. This seasonal position will begin on June 12th, 2024 and will last 9 weeks until August 16th, 2024, including an unpaid week off for the July 4th holiday.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists with event logistics in preparation for 49ers Training Camp, including but not limited to scheduling, floorplans, mapping, ticketing, parking, and shuttles.
- Assists in the execution of open camp days, such as helping with internal and external vendor activations, player autographs, entertainment presentations, mascot appearances, public announcements, fan movements, giveaway distributions, and setting up and striking signage.
- Assists in communication with other departments, such as Football Operations, Stadium Operations, Guest Services, Security, Community Relations, Ticketing, Membership Services, Partnerships, etc. to ensure administrative and operational information is communicated, documented, requested, and fulfilled.
- Assists in the management of event day staff and Training Camp giveaways, uniforms, apparel, prizes, and signage inventory.
- Assists with Training Camp marketing communications, such as helping with e-mail copy and website updates.
- Curates multimedia assets and assist with building presentation decks.
- Periodically assist with game presentation preparation for 49ers home games.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Abilities and Skills:
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the sports, live entertainment, and special event industry.
- Ability to work with and collaborate with a variety of staff (vendors, interns, freelancers, part-time employees, volunteers).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Google Suite applications.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and solve problems in a fast-paced live event environment.
- Strong understanding of marketing and brand standards.
- Must be detail-oriented and highly self-motivated with a shared commitment to excellence.
Education and Experience:
- Possess or working towards an educational degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in Live Events or Event Planning preferred.
- Experience in a professional sports entertainment, NFL or Special Event setting is a plus.

$18.00 - $20.00 hourly rate
