Job Description:

Responsible for managing day-to-day credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging processes for all medical providers with our client company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-today operations and performance of healthcare credentialing team.
  • Manage and maintain appropriate staffing-based client contract scope and department budget.
  • Develop and implement backlog reduction plans as necessary.
  • Manage client escalations as they arise.
  • Maintain an ongoing relationship with existing clients to foster new sales opportunities.
  • Assist in marketing solution offerings to new and existing clients
  • Work with team to evaluate and obtain beta testing partners for new solution offerings.
  • Create and manage a training plan for associates.

Qualifications
Required

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging experience for a large healthcare organization.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years supervisor or management experience.
  • Experience with a credentialing solution.
  • Active Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification
