Our Property Management company is seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a Leasing Manager.

Leasing Managers are responsible for the leasing, marketing and maintaining positive resident relations of our 300+ unit multi-family residential apartment complex. The role of a Leasing Manager includes communicating with prospective residents, working to increase occupancy, fostering a positive relationship with current tenants, and managing the overall maintenance of the property

As a Leasing Manager, you should possess outstanding communication skills as you will be a spokesperson for the property. You should have a high level of organizational skills and a results-driven approach

Responsibilities

• Ensure the model apartments are ready for show and maintaining work areas, common areas and office in a clean and orderly manner.
• Market the property effectively by answering questions, conducting tours, and promoting community amenities.
• Review Applications along with residential verification documents for screening of prospective residents
• Follow up with a phone call to every prospect within 24 hours of a property tour. Additional follow up via e-mail to take place within 48 hours.
• Deliver a positive and consistent in person experience with all prospective residents.
• Have a thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications and all community policies
• Maintain all resident and property files within Property Management Software
• Collecting deposits and rental payments from tenants as well as managing delinquent accounts
• Courteous and efficient handling of resident requests and complaints
• Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program by managing lease expirations and securing renewals
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Filing evictions when necessary
• Motivate, train and lead sales and service team to reach leasing goals
• Making sure the property is maintained properly
• Assist in vendor scheduling and ordering supplies
• Keep updated informational material and distribute to local businesses, apartment locators, etc
• Regular “shopping” of competitive properties and remaining knowledgeable of market conditions

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Leasing Manager, Leasing Agent, or a similar position
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Good marketing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a very fast-paced, ever growing environment
• Sound knowledge of property management technology.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Exceptional organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $57,500.00 per year
