Were Sutherland, and weve contracted with some of the countrys largest healthcare systems to help support their coding organizations in a new way. To help us in these efforts, were looking for Professionals Medical Coders to join us in remote positions on a full-time basis.
In this position, you will review complex medical documentation to extract data and apply appropriate diagnosis and payment codes. In addition, you may be involved in obtaining clarification on conflicting, ambiguous or non-specific documentation.

Position Requirements:
CCS-P, CPC certification
At least 3 years of professional coding experience required; preferably within an academic medical center
Degree or certificate from an accredited institution
Thorough knowledge of coding concepts for professional diagnosis and procedure coding and related legal and policy directives
Familiarity with reference materials, standards and guidelines for coding (including PATH guidelines)
Excellent communication, research and analytical abilities
