Pool season is here, and we are thrilled to be expanding the team that provides the best pool days at The Village Country Club. We are now seeking Seasonal Pool Model Servers to join our “village.” The Model Server is responsible for creating a unique and enjoyable experience for our poolside guests. They provide exceptional service and engage in friendly conversations. The Model Server plays a key role in guiding the guest through menus and activities, giving them the ultimate Village Country Club experience.

Job Description

• Display a warm, personalized, and caring welcome by greeting our guests upon arrival to their cabana, table, or chair
• Deliver a consistently high level of guest service. Give unobtrusive, knowledgeable, and genuine service to every guest, every time
• Anticipate the guests’ needs and responding appropriately with a sense of urgency
• Present menus, answer questions, and make personalized suggestions regarding food and beverage pairings
• Place guest’s orders according to cooking and prep times, ensuring seamless and impeccable service
• Prepare and stock cabanas for guests
• Work as a team, assisting all guests’ and employees’ needs and inquiries
• Handle monetary transactions at the point of sales system (cash, credit cards and room charges) in accordance with department policies and procedures
• Be familiar with all Village services and amenities
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leader

Job Requirments

• Requires a minimum of 2 years previous work experience as food server in a lounge/ fine-dining restaurant
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or above
• Experience in Bottle service preferred, but not required
• Consistently maintain a well-groomed appearance, posture and hygiene deemed by management
• Current TABC and Food Handler’s certification
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Exhibit elevated food, wine, and beverage knowledge
• A highly motivated and energetic personality
• Willing to work in a loud and fast-paced environment

Physical Requirments

• Must be able to work outdoors for extended hours
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds
