Photo Researcher Intern

The Photo Researcher Intern will have the opportunity to help the Photo Editor locate images for current book projects.

Key Learnings:

1. Gathering comprehensive photo research
2. Maintaining a clear and organized archive for each book
3. Clearing rights and permissions for all images
4. Clearing rights with artists and models, as necessary
5. Acquiring and managing high-resolution files

Requirements:

1. Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
2. Previous photo research internship experience preferred
3. Strong visual, communication and organizational skills
4. Able to work independently and prioritize tasks
5. Attention to schedules and deadlines
6. Experience in utilizing Excel and the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign)
7. Familiarity with fine arts and artists, photographers, and subjects pertaining to Assouline’ s publishing list
8. Exceptional research skills
9. Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
10. Must have knowledge in subjects ranging from fashion, design, and art; to travel and lifestyle
