Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Demonstrate exceptional empathy and understanding towards individuals navigating the challenges of cancer diagnosis and treatment.
• Coordinate all patient and hospital communication for BMCF Patient Programs.
• Manages patient database associated with patient engagement and programs.
• Evaluates, approves, and processes patient applications for BMCF Financial assistance programs.
• Promotes the Foundation’s patient programs to patients and medical professionals.
• Develop relationships with the cancer hospitals medical teams and patients/families we serve.
• Support CancerBuddy peer support app partnership team with patient and hospital engagement as needed.
• Process requests for patient program materials and manages distribution.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in administrative social work or related field
• Excellent communication, writing, and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Ability to represent the organization and patient service programs at external meetings
• Team player with a “can do” attitude who is comfortable working in a small office environment

Preferred Qualifications

• M.S.W degree preferred
• Experience in oncology social work
• Experience handling sensitive health information.
