Oakland, CA-based professional consulting firm seeks an office engineer to work with contractor performing street paving and other street works. Familiar with drawings and specifications for streets, inspection of works, quality and quantity control, materials testing, progress reporting, schedule and cost control, RFIs and Change Orders, measurement and payment. Civil Engineering Degree, P.E. preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering or closely related field from an accredited college or university
• Civil engineering design and construction principles and practices
• Engineering cost estimating principles and practices
• Methods and techniques of field measuring and testing
• Engineering construction contract administration principles and practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
