Our client is an insurance, risk management and consulting organization. They’re looking to bring on a Network System Administrator due to growth, and an increase in projects. This person will be responsible for configuring Cisco routers & switches, setting up Cisco Call Manager, troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN issues, etc. Strong communication and team collaboration skills will be crucial for this role!

This position is a 6-Month Contract (with the possibility to convert full-time after the contract) & 100% Remote!

Responsibilities:

• Deploying and providing support for Cisco-based network infrastructure and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Configuring and optimizing Cisco VoIP telephone systems and related network equipment and services, including Cisco Communications Manager and Cisco Unity Connection voicemail platform.
• Responsible for configuring and setting up Cisco Communications Manager.
• Deploying and supporting Cisco Webex, Jabber, and Xmedius Global Fax solutions
• Optimizing and maintaining network software and hardware.
• Installing and managing Cisco Firewalls at branch and datacenter locations.
• Performing network infrastructure troubleshooting, including F5 load balancers.
• Deploying and managing Cisco Wireless solution globally.
• Deploying and supporting the Aruba Solution for tele-workers.
• Providing level 2/3 support for VoIP and network-related issues.

Qualifications/Desired Skills:

• 3+ years of experience support Cisco based network infrastructure including routers, switches and firewalls.
• 3+ Working experience with WAN technologies (PTP links and MPLS) and routing protocols such as BGP.
• 3+ years of experience with installing and supporting Cisco Unified Communications solution set.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Firewalls such as ASA 55XX and ASAM.
• Hands on implementation of LAN/WAN security solutions including Cisco ISE.
• Experience with supporting UC applications such as Jabber and Webex.
• Experience in supporting UCCE call center solution preferred.
• Experience with deploying and managing Cisco WAAS solution
• Working experience with F5 load balancers and GTM.
• Experience with Cisco Wireless products and technologies (WiSM2 and WLC55XX)
• Experience troubleshooting complex LAN/WAN environment problems to resolution in a multi-platform, multi-protocol environment
