About the role
The role of the Multimedia Designer is to create impactful and visually engaging content to bring our internal and external marketing and campaigns to life. Key Responsibilities
• Conceptualised and designed multimedia assets for GMS’s high-impact digital campaigns, including social media ads, landing pages, email creatives, and programmatic ad units. Ensuring alignment with campaign objectives, branding standards, and conversion goals within a performance marketing framework.
• Produced engaging visual content, including static graphics, motion graphic animations, and ad imagery using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and tools like Premiere Pro, to enhance campaign storytelling, increase audience engagement, and optimise ad performance.
• Collaborated with campaign strategists and copywriters to translate creative briefs into compelling multimedia concepts, sketching storyboards, drafting layout visuals, and developing visual prototypes that supported ad campaign design and user journey mapping.
• Designed and delivered creative assets for GMS’s Amplify Method™, including scroll-stopping ad visuals, motion content, and branding elements, feeding into performance-optimised funnels across platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, and programmatic networks.
• Developed assets for web and email marketing, crafting mock-ups and layouts for landing pages and email templates using Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Canva, collaborating closely with web developers and CRM specialists to ensure front-end fidelity and conversion optimisation.
• Researched and tested new multimedia tools and platforms, including emerging motion graphics software, interactive content formats, and creative automation tools, incorporating innovative solutions into design pipelines to continuously enhance creative impact.
• Liaised with Account Manager and Digital Growth Representative, aligning design deliverables with campaign timelines, performance metrics, and client feedback, ensuring that multimedia elements met aesthetic, functional, and conversion-based requirements within the agency’s delivery workflows
Required skills and qualifications
• Qualifications as a multimedia designer
• Experience with motion graphics and animation
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition
• Familiarity with tools like Figma will be highly regarded
• A highly creative mindset
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines
• A willingness to go above and beyond
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design is a bonus
