Our client,  a leader in the automotive industry , is hiring for a  Social Media Marketing Specialist to join their team in  Herndon, VA . This person would  participate in Social Media Strategy, as well as oversee Social Media projects and operations within the organizations Internal Social and Content team.

**This is an Ongoing W2 contract with PTO, Paid Holidays, and Benefits **

**1-2 days onsite required each week**

Responsibilities

• Develop Social Media strategy for assigned projects
• Integrate brand messaging positioning and social best practices
• Lead day-to-day management of Social Media projects from end to end
• Maintain project status through team’s project management platforms
• Lead all relevant business, creative, product, and legal reviews for projects
• Communicate creative project status, timelines, deliverables, goals, financial status and expectations

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in Social Media Marketing, consumer brand preferred
• Knowledge of Social Media strategy (legacy and emerging platforms)
• Experience working with a consumer brand
• Experience with Project Management platforms (Click-Up, Monday, Sharepoint, etc.)
• Strong Microsoft Exce l skills and experience
• Experience developing s ocial media content, calendars, and strategy
