About the Role
We are launching our Copilot Agent services at Empathy Technologies and are looking for a Copilot Agent Developer to join our innovation team. You’ll be the driving force behind building intelligent, task-driven AI agents that don’t just talk—they act.
If you love automating workflows, understand the Power Platform, and can build low-code bots that make work actually easier—this role is for you.
What Are Copilot Agents?
In short: AI Agents built using Microsoft Copilot Studio that perform real actions based on user prompts.
They connect to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Excel, Dataverse, Outlook, Teams, and can trigger flows, summarize internal data, update CRMs, or even schedule meetings.
🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing
You Must Know
Copilot Studio – Experience building bots with conversational flows.
Power Automate – Ability to design backend workflows using connectors, conditions, and logic.
Microsoft Graph API – Understanding how to access and utilize data from Outlook, Teams, Calendar, etc.
SharePoint / Dataverse / Excel – Familiarity with integrating and retrieving business data from these sources.
Azure OpenAI (Bonus) – Experience using GPT for summarization or generating smart responses.
APIs – Comfortable integrating with REST APIs when needed.
Prompt Design – Ability to write clear, effective prompts to guide AI behavior and improve outcomes.
Bonus Skills (Not Mandatory but Nice to Have)

Creation for a common bot for all departments:
● Develop a bot with a versatile architecture capable of understanding and responding to queries from various departments within the organization.
● Design the bot to have a customizable interface, allowing each department to tailor its functionality and responses to suit their specific needs. Implementation of bot in teams:
● Integrate the bot seamlessly into collaboration platforms like Microsoft Teams, ensuring easy accessibility for employees across departments.
● Provide clear guidelines and training sessions for team members on how to effectively utilize the bot within Teams for streamlined communication and task management. Integration with several subsystems for various departments: ● Establish robust API integrations with existing subsystems used by different departments, such as HR, IT, Finance, and Operations.
● Ensure bidirectional communication between the bot and these subsystems to enable data retrieval, updates, and task execution directly from within the bot interface. Capability to learn from knowledgebase:
● Implement machine learning algorithms to enable the bot to continuously learn and improve its responses based on interactions and feedback from users.
● Utilize natural language processing (NLP) techniques to analyze and extract relevant information from the knowledgebase, allowing the bot to provide accurate and contextualized answers to user queries.
