The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing email campaigns, managing deliverability, and overseeing all aspects of the email sending process. This role requires a deep understanding of email marketing, strong technical expertise, and a meticulous approach to ensure the successful delivery and performance of email campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Campaign Execution:
- Set up and deploy email campaigns according to the marketing schedule.
- Ensure all email content is correctly formatted and aligns with campaign objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance and make real-time adjustments as necessary.
- Manage the warm-up process for new email accounts to optimize deliverability.
Deliverability Management:
- Monitor and manage email deliverability by tracking bounce rates, spam complaints, and other relevant metrics.
- Implement and maintain best practices for email authentication, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Troubleshoot deliverability issues and collaborate with ISPs to resolve them promptly.
List Management:
- Maintain and segment email lists to ensure precise targeting.
- Implement list hygiene practices to remove inactive or invalid email addresses.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant regulations.
A/B Testing:
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, and send times to optimize campaign performance.
- Analyze test results and integrate findings into future campaigns for continuous improvement.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on key email metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance future campaign effectiveness.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to align email campaigns with broader marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure email templates are both visually appealing and functional.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Email Marketing Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices and deliverability strategies.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, SendGrid, etc.).
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email template creation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Experience with A/B testing and data analysis.
- Knowledge of email compliance regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.).
- Basic understanding of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
