The National Foundation for Transplants is a non-profit organization committed to eliminating financial barriers that impede, delay, and/or hinder the transplant process. Our mission is to empower community, foster health equity, and improve quality of life, ultimately contributing to the saving of lives.

Role Description

The National Foundation for Transplants is seeking a collaborative teammate to fill the role of Marketing and Communications Manager. In this pivotal position, you will collaborate closely with the leadership team to proactively identify and execute the organization’s marketing needs, translating these into effective strategies to achieve desired outcomes.

This role involves a dynamic mix of community development, engagement, and retention, elevating brand recognition and awareness, enhancing digital presence across website and social media platforms, and improving organizational communications. As a self-starter and a key contributor to the mission, this position will be personally responsible for the planning, coordination, design, and publication of impactful content. This role demands a proactive approach to marketing, where initiative and creativity are essential to support the diverse facets of our non-profit's mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy and Identity: Developing and implementing a robust brand strategy is pivotal in building and maintaining trust and creditability, as well as distinguishing the National Foundation for Transplants from other organizations. It will also need to include the ability to speak about the organization, and the goals and vision for the future. This responsibility will include managing the organization’s public perception via organizations that evaluate non-profits and/or similar organizations.
  • Content Creation, Delivery, and Management: The role will be centered on bringing creativity and a resourceful mindset to every aspect of our content delivery. This position will be creating compelling content and copy for social media, email marketing, the website, printed materials, and other channels, crafting engaging posts, responding to community interactions, and developing fresh, impactful assets. A proactive approach to content creation will be needed to ensure effective delivery of our message as well as foster the continuous evolution and improvement of our communication. This role will also manage the ability of all team members to access marketing materials that are pertinent to their responsibilities.
  • Measuring Marketing Impact: It is expected that by utilizing data and analytics from various marketing tools, you'll gain valuable insights into the effectiveness of our campaigns. This involves tracking key performance indicators such as engagement rates, conversion metrics, and audience growth across different platforms. Your analytical approach will enable you to interpret this data, identifying trends and patterns that inform decision-making. This continuous assessment is critical not only for understanding the ROI of our marketing activities but also for identifying areas of improvement. By leveraging these insights, you'll refine and optimize our marketing strategies, ensuring they are agile and responsive to our audience.
  • Additional Duties: Adapt to a range of additional responsibilities, which may include event coordination, public relations, and cross-departmental collaboration.
