MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE
The Marketing Manager will be a key partner in taking the company’s growth to the next level. This role will help develop a multi-channel, integrated marketing approach across all offline and online channels to drive new customers to Cos Bar and retain existing customers. This role will be a key partner to the marketing and omni-channel teams, buyers, brands, and store teams to execute compelling marketing programs. This role will be responsible for Email, SMS, Corporate Promotions and Strategy, Task Management, the Marketing Calendar, Loyalty, Refer-a-friend, GWP strategy, and our Intern program. The Marketing Manager will report to our Sr. Director of Marketing
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Direct responsibility to conceptualize, plan and execute the annual marketing calendar including promotions, product/brand launches, in-store marketing, direct mail, co-op, gifting, and sampling campaigns.
- Work with Sr. Director of Marketing & Ecommerce team in conceptualizing, planning and executing key pieces of the digital marketing strategy including owned and paid channels to raise brand awareness, increase Cos Bar’s digital footprint, retain existing customers and acquire new customers.
- Manage special projects to drive Cos Bar’s performance and enhance our competitive positioning, including Loyalty, GWP, refer-a-friend, etc.
- Coordinate with the Ecommerce team to align the website with marketing campaigns and create custom landing and collection pages to optimize conversion.
- Ensure all programs meet KPI metrics and make recommendations for optimization and improvement.
- Work with Marketing, Ops, Ecommerce, Buying and external teams (including suppliers, vendors, agency partners and marketplace contacts) to ensure seamless execution of in-store and digital initiatives. Including: promotions, onsite campaigns, advertising, partnerships, in-store marketing, direct mail, co-op, CRM, and sampling campaigns.
- Work with store managers and directors of stores to plan and execute corporate promotions and events, ensuring timely promotion and messaging needs are met.
- Strong grasp of data and reporting through Netsuite, Skypad, and Power BI. Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, ad hoc analysis, and major event post-mortems with recommendations as needed covering seasonal promotions, business performance, Co-Op, etc.
- Manage task management calendar (Asana) for all content across creative, email, sms, social, and web.
- Work with external agency to manage the email and SMS programs in Yotpo. Coordinating the timely delivery of all necessary assets and information for execution of all campaigns, ensuring best practices are implemented and maintained, reporting and amending based on learnings.
- Create, execute and analyze content across all of Cos Bar’s current corporate owned channels in Yotpo including: Email, SMS + Loyalty.
- Monitor trends in online and offline marketing and the competitive landscape to make recommendations for implementation. Maintain a current accounting of direct competitors promotional calendars.
- Assist the Ecommerce team to manage homepage and site merchandising, including creating calendar, updates, other ad hoc cross functional needs.
- Manage intern program including: hiring, managing interns, and developing meaningful work that contributes to the team.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is an Office position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 9-5 pm. However, this may vary depending upon business needs.
Travel
This position may require some travel based on business needs.

PRINCIPAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, English, Journalism or Communications
Work Experience:
- 2-4 years’ experience in marketing, CRM, paid search and/or SEO
- Excellent communication and technological skills
- Excellent analytical, project management, presentation, and teamwork skills
- Deep understanding and passion for omnichannel marketing, retail and beauty
- Data-driven self-starter
- Ability to use quantitative insights to create action items
- Enthusiasm for a dynamic, fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple campaigns/projects
- Solid understanding of analytics tools (Power BI, Looker Studio, Google Analytics, etc.), retention metrics and KPIs
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of Netsuite, Customer Connect and Shopify a plus
