Job Description

Propel Technology is a rapidly growing Managed Services Provider with offices in Detroit, MI and Westminster, CO. We are seeking an experienced IT support technician to join our Colorado team. The position will be primarily work-from-home, with occasional on-site visits to client offices in the Greater Denver Metro area. We provide a cell phone allowance and mileage reimbursement at the standard IRS rate. Preferred candidates will be mid-career IT professionals with several years' experience working in IT support and advanced knowledge of commonly-used small and medium business IT platforms and software (details below). They should also have experience in designing, planning, and implementing IT projects. Candidates with MSP experience and/or experience in IT Security and Compliance frameworks such as NIST and CMMC are especially attractive and eligible for higher salaries. We're a tight-knit group with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and solve workstation and server hardware or software faults.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosis of network problems as directed.
  • Support end users both in office and remotely by talking through a series of actions, either face-to-face, over the telephone, or via email to help set up systems or resolve issues.
  • Assist users with Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Assist users with cloud applications such as G-Suite and Office 365.
  • Ability to manage user accounts, security groups, policies in a Windows Domain / Azure Active Directory environment as directed.

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years experience in IT support role or similar.
  • Experience with Windows 10 and 11 Professional workstation installation, configuration and Windows Domain connectivity.
  • Experience with Windows Server 2012 R2 through 2022 - installation, configuration and administration.
  • Experience with intermediate / advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting methods for computer workstations, printers, VoIP phones and wired/wireless networking.
  • Ability to replace basic computer components such as power supplies, memory, keyboard, etc.
  • Intermediate / advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Comprehensive experience with cloud-based email and collaborative tools like G-Suite and Office 365.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $47,000.00 to $60,000.00 / year depending on experience and qualifications.
