Job Description:

The IT Analyst will analyze, design, and troubleshoot Casa Familiar’s information technology systems and processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness between all systems used. Use defined policies and procedures to evaluate and design new IT systems or enhance existing systems to integrate with current and future needs. This person will test and evaluate the compatibility and integration of new systems with existing infrastructure, networks and applications. The IT Analyst will design models and utilize analysis and solution development methods, including process maps, flow charts, and diagrams. Additionally, they will be responsible for supporting management with project planning, risk assessment, and project tracking to deliver timely IT solutions within budget.  

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of departmental business processes to identify and resolve moderately complex issues. 
  • Maintain system security for assigned application 
  • Lead the escalation of issues with appropriate internal resources and assist in policy and procedure development in collaboration with business units and IT management. 
  • Independently manage components of application upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and support efforts. 
  • Troubleshoot and support inbound/outbound interfaces as necessary 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide technical and functional support for existing systems, including Salesforce, QuickBooks, MS Project, Microsoft Office suite and related apps, payroll, and HR systems, and future systems 
  • Perform system updates and ensure regular data backups. 
  • Administer and regulate the use of OneDrive and SharePoint to ensure security and efficient document collaboration and storage. 
  • Develop standard operating procedures for IT systems and tools used within the organization. 
  • Prepare and present training materials for end-users and internal teams. 
  • Create and generate reports as needed to analyze system performance and user activities. 
  • Lead the implementation of new IT systems and tools, ensuring smooth integration and adequate staff training. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify areas for process improvement related to IT systems and tools. 
  • Propose and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems. 
  • Any other duties needed to help drive our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization's Values 

Desired Skills: 

  • Ability to install system upgrades and ensure data system integrity is maintained. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL, Crystal Reports, and basic programming languages. 
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and provide insights for decision-making. 
  • Experience in scheduling, overseeing, and conducting training sessions for system users. 
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain data system integrity and ensure compliance with security protocols. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and system maintenance tasks. 
  • Dedication to understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that meet or exceed expectations. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, Information Systems, or related field. 
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in systems support, preferably in nonprofit organizational   environments. 
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce, CRM, ERP, QuickBooks, MS Project, Microsoft Office suite and related apps, payroll, HR systems and other systems. 
  • Experience in OneDrive and SharePoint administration. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot technical and functional issues. 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. 

This position requires sitting at a desk or workstation, walking, standing, climbing stairs, hearing, speaking, being able to lift up to 25 lb., and being able to drive to the bank and do other errands pertaining to organizational operations. A background check is required. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire. This is a full-time, exempt position with occasional work responsibilities on weekends and/or evenings depending on the season calendar.
