Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The purpose of the inside sales position is to increase sales as a supplement sales resource to the territory managers and provide these accounts with all the services required to fulfill their needs. This position will allow JRS Pharma to increase sales and margins by penetrating the market.

  • Lead Entry & Qualification (from info box, customer service, tradeshows, webinars)
  • Early stage lead management (needs, documentation review, introductions to sales rep)
  • Identification of new contacts in existing account (via industry memberships & other departmental contacts)
  • Identify and initiate new opportunities/accounts using databases, lists etc.
  • Cross reference ordering accounts to call reports to identify accounts that should be addressed
  • Review all call reports for competitive Intel and items of follow up to assist with (interfacing with internal depts.)
  • Nurture prospective or "C/D" level accounts remotely via phone/email
  • Follow up directly with new customer inquiries
  • Maintain database of R&D/Purchasing contacts for all accounts
  • Provide monthly sales reports flagging items of concern for discussion/explanation
  • Sample Requests
  • Be a second line of contact for all sales reps - handling requests (Pricing, Specification Sheets, CVA, etc.)
  • Interface with IT for CRM needs & enhancement
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Manages select distributors and helps drives sales

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Associates degree in science
  • Min 2 years of direct work experience in a sales, telesales or customer service capacity.
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Excellent prospecting, selling, and closing skills along with solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve sales objectives with prompt turnaround on assignments to meet monthly and quarterly deadlines.
  • Solid work ethic, team player, dependable, and avid learner who seeks a challenge to grow professionally.
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills, as well as experience in public speaking in international/multicultural environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; best with multiple projects at the same time.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Experience with ERP systems and sales reporting systems (SAP preferred).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work from HQ in Patterson, NY with occasional domestic travel.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
