Shift: Monday through Friday with infrequent special events on weekends. The hours may vary between our extended business hours (7:00 am to 5:00 pm) based on the needs and preferences of our referring physicians’ offices.

Summary: The Fairfax Vascular Center Imaging Services Marketing Executive is a full-time position responsible for developing, managing, and expanding physician and community referral relationships for FRC’s outpatient Vascular Center located in Virginia for the purpose of driving growth.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for developing an annual marketing plan to drive referral business to FRC’s outpatient Vascular Center located in Fairfax, Virginia and implementing that plan to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of FRC’s services and modalities and utilize this knowledge to successfully drive physician referrals to the Center.
  • Manage a portfolio of referring physician offices and create a territory growth plan that meets or exceeds established new referral goals.
  • Increase the level, frequency and quality of communication with new and existing practices to build long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Monitor and analyze referral patterns by physician; identify low referring practices as well as practices with a significant positive or negative referral trend, and schedule appointments with the office managers/physicians and recommend adaptive strategies; identify non-referring practices to target for new referrals.
  • Oversee the resolution of physician office complaints by working with the FVC leadership, manager and staff by delivering prompt and thorough resolutions. Report all problems/proposed resolution to the FVC Director.
  • Facilitate communications between radiologists, leadership and referring physicians and their staff to promote relationships and assist in ongoing customer service.
  • Plan, market and host community and physician events to educate and promote key strategies.
  • Develop campaigns to promote new services and techniques as well as enhance community relations within the target territory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and two years in sales or in a clinical setting (vascular preferred), or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Experience with contact management software preferred. Competent with MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Outlook.
  • Must have exceptional communication skills (both written and oral); active listener, extremely articulate and an effective writer.
  • Able to independently manage time, many projects and produce results simultaneously.
  • Must have efficient and reliable transportation throughout the workday. If driving, must have a current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and maintain a local DMV report that meets FRC requirements.
  • Must be able to access, input and retrieve information from the computer and central file system.
  • Must be able to work full-time with flexible hours as needed to meet with physician and other referral sources and host physician and community events.
  • Must be able to reach, bend and continuously move throughout the office as well as remain in a stationary position throughout the day.
  • Must be able to handle up to 20 pounds in moving marketing materials.
