Job Description:

The HR Business Partner will be acting as a specialist to operation leaders and provide coaching and counselling to employees and leaders, support performance management, investigations, training and development, and support HR initiatives and projects.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of all major Human Resources disciplines including performance management, leadership development, succession & development planning, employee relations, policies & practices, project management, organizational effectiveness principles, metrics, and change management.

  • Demonstrated ability to consult with all levels of executives/management.

  • Ability to integrate HR strategic initiatives with functional business units' business plans to create strategic workforce solutions such as process improvement, change management or organizational effectiveness initiatives.

  • Proficiency in HR and Microsoft computer applications

  • Strong leadership skills: influencing, developing and coaching employees & leaders and motivating others.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and to manage multiple responsibilities.

  • Ability to diplomatically offer objective and creative solutions.

  • Ability to respect and maintain confidential and sensitive information.

  • Ability to champion and influence change and a willingness to take risks.

  • Outstanding facilitation, listening, & presentation skills

  • Ability to be a supportive and participative team member with a high level of personal initiative and responsibility while working independently with limited direction.

  • Strong results orientation

  • Ability to understand and provide guidance regarding the company's compliance efforts with respect to human resource's practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Partners effectively with managers, to keep a close pulse on employee relations issues and trends in the field.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of California employee labor laws.

Education/Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field such as Human Resources, Business Management

  • 2-4 years as an HRBP, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understanding of the Workday experience.

  • Demonstrated strong judgement and working knowledge of multiple HR functional areas including performance management, training.

  • Strong planning, coordination, organization and prioritization skills.

  • Proven ability to foster relationships with managers and working partnerships with a broad range of people.
