Brainier, an award-winning software technology company specializing in Enterprise eLearning Solutions, has an immediate full-time opening for a Full Stack Developer to join the IT & Product Development team at headquarters in Edina, Minnesota.

Candidate must be a quick learner with 2+ years professional Backend Programming skills, and able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. Ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic, self-starting team player.

As a full stack developer, you will deliver individually on features / enhancements under Brainier products, as laid out per product delivery roadmap and own responsibility for the technical integrity, scalability and trouble-free deployment to production. Primarily developing for Brainier's flagship product, the Brainier LMS, a SaaS / web-based Learning Management System.

Required:
-Minimum 2 years professional work experience in Full Stack development of web applications
-Must have 1+ years experience with Angular
-Strong experience across backend development languages
-A good working knowledge of REST API
-Knowledge of database development, ideally MS SQL
-Exposure to an Agile Development Methodology would be beneficial

Highly desired skills:
-Experience with Angular, ColdFusion, REST API, SQL Server, AWS, iOS & Android, Flutter & Dart
-A developer who is comfortable working on their own on the web front-end, service layer as well as database
-Designing solutions to best fit the needs of the business
-Bringing your experience as a professional full-stack developer to produce innovative applications and software
-Front-end skills to provide functional and intuitive user interfaces
-Participating in daily stand ups to ensure that sprint cycles are met
-Experience building, shipping, and maintaining web apps on the server level with an OO language and framework
-Experience building front end HTML, CSS, JavaScript-based apps that utilize Ajax and DOM manipulation
-Experience working with a SQL database using raw SQL
-Experience working with and creating raw HTML / CSS from Figma or other design documents
-Experience with version control and group repositories, comfortable working intimately on a codebase with other developers

Nice to have skills:
-Security best practices
-Experience with AI, Machine Learning, Statistics or Data processing
-Ideally has experience with ColdFusion
-Experience using test-driven development methods
-Experience with creating or maintaining a web server in a Windows based environment
-HTML5 and Canvas experience
-Agile-based development, including sprints and standup meetings. Comfortable using collaborative software to track development tasks
-Familiar with both agency and startup settings, and comfortable working with UX, Designers, Producers, and Product Managers
-Strong communication and writing ability. Comfortable communicating high level tech ideas to both developers and non-developers
-Strong QA and bug fixing abilities. Comfortable using bug tracking software
-Independent, resourceful learner
