Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for English language learners

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth

- Provide instruction in grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills

- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

- Utilize instructional technology to enhance learning experiences

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices

- Mentor and support students in their academic and personal development

- Foster a love for literature and encourage critical thinking skills

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

- Previous experience teaching English at the secondary or higher education level

- Knowledge of instructional design principles and strategies

- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, style, and linguistics

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

- Experience in academic advising or mentoring is desirable

- Background in creative writing is a bonus
