The Equine Network, LLC is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Email Marketer. The person in this role will play a critical part in our email and marketing efforts, working with our various equine and horse related brands.
Primarily working in the Braze platform, this individual will be responsible for organizing, creating, and sending daily email marketing campaigns to over 1M total subscribers. This role will require knowledge of personalization tactics, attribute-based segmentation, and cross-selling between brands. Outgoing communications will span informational/newsletter, promotional, and transactional emails from brands that include media sites, magazine subscriptions, roadside assistance and other horse and farm-related products. The ideal candidate will be an advocate for the end-user, and able to develop customer journeys that best suit each user's interests as well as our brand priorities.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Develop email templates, campaigns, and automated flows for our network of exciting horse-related brands.
- Work with editors, marketers, and stakeholders across brands to gather requirements, content, and assets for email campaigns.
- Use the Braze platform to efficiently design content blocks and templates that can be used by multiple collaborators to send communications.
- Organize and tag assets within Braze for clarity and re-use by other team members.
- Design and implement A/B tests for campaign and journey optimization.
- Create segments based on user attributes and brand opt-ins to effectively deliver communications to users while improving overall email program deliverability.
- Report on email campaign key performance indicators, logging data and optimizing emails based on open, click, and conversion rates.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- While this role has no direct reports, the individual will be responsible for managing content collection across multiple brands and working closely with designers and copywriters to create professional campaigns.
Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, computer science, design, or related field
- 2+ years' experience in email and communication strategies, design, implementation, and optimization
- Basic HTML and CSS skills, along with WYSIWYG (drag and drop) content creation
- Pixel-perfect attention to detail
- Asana or similar project management software experience - a high level of organization and planning is a must for this role.
Because this is a remote position, the candidate is expected to have better than average internet connection as you will be on video conferences and downloading large files. The candidate must have a quiet workspace with little to no distractions.
