The E-Learning Course Designer & Web Editor is primarily responsible for the design, development, and implementation of e-learning educational courses delivered online to youth and families affected by child welfare. Educational and training services are offered by embrella to families and youth through various modalities such as direct in-person teaching and distance learning, which includes webinars, e-learning, and correspondence education.
This individual is required to modify and update current written courses for transmission to an e-learning format. This individual must use e-learning authoring tools and designs to develop engaging, interactive online training courses including scenarios, simulations, video, assessments, and gamification.
This individual is responsible for following standard operating procedures and work instructions to add, administer, and maintain LMS software. This individual must remain current on training industry trends and incorporate them into educational strategies as appropriate.
This individual is also responsible for creating and editing content for our website with our Marketing Designer, ensuring that it is engaging, informative, and optimized for search engines. They will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and attracting a wider audience. They will be detail-oriented, have excellent writing and editing skills, and a strong understanding of SEO best practices.
They will ensure that all of their communications adhere to the Communications Editorial Mission Statement developed by the Director of Communications and the Communications Team. They are responsible for assisting with filming and photos for agency events as needed. Some evenings and weekends are required for events, video shoots, conferences, toy drive, etc.
