Job Description:

- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies and plans to promote the organization's mission, programs, and initiatives.
- Create and manage content for various communication channels, including website, social media platforms, newsletters, press releases, and marketing materials.
- Conduct research to identify target audiences and key messages, and tailor communications accordingly.
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets and serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries.
- Edit and proofread all communication materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Plan and coordinate press conferences, interviews, and other media events.
- Deliver effective public speaking engagements on behalf of the organization.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and ensure consistent communication across all channels.
- Monitor and analyze communication efforts to measure effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communications.

-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in media relations, including building relationships with journalists and pitching stories.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
- Experience managing social media platforms and developing engaging content.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
