Role Overview:
As a Digital Product Owner - Marketing & Website, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, responsible for understanding their business goals, identifying opportunities for growth, and driving strategic engagements to deliver high-quality digital products. Primarily working with customers on website build, migration, and campaign optimization, your knowledge of marketing best practices and user experience driven design methodologies is perfect for this role. Your expertise in customer engagement, account management, digital product development, and project management will be essential in guiding the vision for our clients' products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals, challenges, and aspirations to inform digital product strategies.
- Discovery Sessions: Conduct discovery sessions with clients to uncover business needs, identify opportunities for growth, and define digital product roadmaps that drive business results.
- Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic guidance to clients, leveraging industry trends, market analysis, and customer insights to inform product decisions and drive digital transformation.
- Digital Product Roadmap: Collaborate with clients to develop and refine digital product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the delivery of digital projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication between clients, designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and effective project delivery.
- Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and industry insights to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Technical Experience Requirements:
- Digital Product Development: Strong background in digital product development, with a focus on customer engagement and user experience.
- Website Development and CMS: Familiarity with website development projects, Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Drupal and WordPress, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like HubSpot, to manage customer interactions and marketing campaigns.
- Marketing Collaboration and Digital Optimization: Proven experience working with marketing teams to develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), marketing campaigns, and website optimization. Familiarity with marketing automation tools, such as Marketo or Pardot, and experience with A/B testing and experimentation to drive conversion rate optimization.
- Industry Trends: Strong understanding of industry trends, market analysis, and customer insights to inform product decisions and drive digital transformation.
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital product development, account management, or a related field.
- Preference for experience working with digital agencies or consulting firms.
- US based role, with ability to work eastern timezone business hours.
- Ability for some travel to DC area and/or customer locations as needed.
- References of past managers, employers, and/or colleagues.
