Eagle Roofing Products, the nation's largest privately-owned concrete roof tile manufacturer, is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist (DMS) with a strong-work ethic and passion for marketing.
This position will develop, implement and optimize digital marketing strategies to promote Eagle’s products and services, maximize brand awareness as well as strengthen customer engagement and drive lead conversions. This position requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and strategic thinking to effectively manage multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities include the conception, planning, creation, follow-through and analysis of Eagle’s social media including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Additionally, this individual will also manage a variety of internal technology platforms, with main emphasis on ClickDimensions, our email marketing automation solution as well as Microsoft Dynamics 365, our customer relationship management tool.
Finally, this role will also be responsible in managing and overseeing our Eagle website, a variety of internal SharePoint sites, as well as spearhead our continuing education efforts: LinkedIn Learning and our Personalized Learning Plan – Invest In Yourself. The DMS will also collaborate on special projects and assignments as needed and provide assistance with content development for various print and digital assets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Plans, builds, implements, and monitors the company’s digital marketing campaigns and makes data-driven decisions about campaign optimization to drive engagement, conversions, and revenue for the company.
- Creates, schedules, and monitors day-to-day social media posts across various platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and YouTube to influence consumers and businesses to buy our concrete roof tile. This includes content development, photography, video and creating graphics.
- Manages budget to be spent on promoting our products via social media posts and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, as well as email marketing with third party advertisers to increase reach and conversions. Tracks and analyzes campaign analytics including conversion rates and website traffic to identify areas of success or improvement, while adhering to budgets set forth.
- Conducts market research to identify trends, analyze competitors, and inform marketing strategies.
- Develops and executes comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives and marketing goals. This includes compiling email lists, writing engaging email copy, creating imagery, and ensuring design and layouts of emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly. Will also work with Marketing & Graphics Design Specialist to create additional digital assets as needed.
- Analyzes campaign performance data and metrics to make data-driven decisions for optimizing email marketing efforts.
- Engages daily with our online community, exercising discretion and independent judgement when communicating with our customers and potential customers.
- Works in conjunction with Eagle’s Digital Agency and our Marketing Communications Specialist to maintain our company website: coordinate the development of new website material, integrate lead forms with the CRM as needed to collect customer data and ensure that all content is up-to-date.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop content strategies and ensure brand consistency across all digital communications.
- Stays up-to-date on new technology trends and opportunities to ensure the company remains a digital marketing leader within the industry, and in the digital marketing space.
- Manages and oversees our continuing education platforms: LinkedIn Learning and our Personalized Learning Plan – Invest In Yourself.
CRM
- Oversees the performance of Microsoft Dynamics CRM to ensure customer contact information and data is correct including, but not limited to: customizing fields, forms and templates, removing/merging duplicate records and creating reports.
- Collaborates with leadership and regional managers to ensure CRM practices are aligned with marketing and business objectives, while analyzing and distributing existing reports. In addition, provides strategic recommendations and insights into team operations and sales performance.
- Monitors data integrity, as well as catalogs requests for enhancements for view changes, new fields, solutions etc. while proactively addressing any data management and quality issues.
- Collaborates with Microsoft Dynamics Consultant and Corporate I.T. to troubleshoot and resolve user issues, tests enhancements and bug fixes, as well as coordinates the implementation of new CRM functionality.
- Onboards and trains users on Dynamics 365 as well as act as a resource for existing users post-training.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILIITES:
In order to create credible and effective online content, the DMS will be responsible to learn about the structure of our industry, our company and its history, our products, installation processes, components, new markets, as well as the fundamentals of Exterior Design, Color and Architecture. This knowledge will be derived from research, reviewing all existing Eagle and competitive collateral and digital assets as well cross-regional and cross-departmental peer immersion and training.
As is the case for all Eagle Team Members, the Digital Marketing Specialist must treat people with respect, work ethically, have integrity, accept responsibility for his/her own actions and uphold the Vision, Values and Objectives (VVO’s) of Eagle Roofing Products. In addition, he/she will develop and maintain good working relationships with Eagle’s Leadership, Regional Sales Managers, Customer Service Managers and Account Representatives, as well as foster a working relationship with our third-party CRM consulting agency and email marketing consulting company.
1. Works collaboratively with the Director of Marketing on content development to ensure consistency of message and integrity of the brand of our digital communications including, but not limited to: presentations, online learning classes, email campaigns, web content and digital advertising.
2. Creates content, induces engagement and manages the administration of Eagle’s online learning portals LinkedIn Learning and Eagle’s Personalized Learning Path – Invest In Yourself. Internal communications shall include periodic usage reporting and suggestions on constant improvement to all platforms.
3. Will be cross-trained in all of the major functions of the department including trade shows and events, social media, graphic design, homeowner consultations, architectural programs and more. Will spearhead and/or assist with other marketing projects and department tasks on an as-needed basis.
4. Accepts any and all requests from direct superiors to undertake any project, task or challenge. Takes ownership of each project and demonstrate responsibility to complete it successfully, meeting all completion deadlines, performance/results criteria, etc.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or related field required.
· Experience in Email marketing with proven track record of successful campaigns. Will entertain recent college graduates with internship experience in email and social media marketing.
· Sound understanding of marketing principles needed including how to increase brand awareness, promote company products or services and drive prospects to conversions.
- Advanced knowledge of social media management tools, email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools a plus.
- Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns
- Exceptional copy writing skills including proper grammar, punctuation and spelling and editing a must.
- Completes projects quickly with a keen attention to detail.
- Passion for learning, trying new things, assessing what works and making quick alterations to the plan. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic, data-driven decisions a must.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team with a client service mindset.
- Solutions-oriented thinker with the ability to manage projects and expectations of internal and external clients and team members.
- Travel a few times a year will be required to attend a trade show, regional sales meeting, industry event, etc.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record for purposes of insurability with the company’s carrier.
- Ability to perform some physical requirements of the position, which may include picking up, carrying and lifting 10-20 lbs. of concrete roof tile, sample boxes, and event items.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of design programs such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop or InDesign is a plus.
- Knowledge of CRM and best practices is a plus. Training will be provided.
