We are partnering with a NYC higher education institution seeking a Digital Copywriter to join their Marketing and Communications team. This role is highly collaborative and works in close partnership with all centers and programs, departments, and academic divisions across the institution. Primary responsibilities including supporting the university's online presence and executing communication plan. Day-to-day tasks include copywriting for the web, designing simple graphics, outreach, launching email campaigns, and promoting stakeholder efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience plus three (3) years of related experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in digital content management, marketing, or communications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
• Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and SEO best practices; Tools including Adobe, Canva and google analytics (or similar tools)
• Strong creative and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape

Compensation: $35 - $38/Hour

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
