What We Are Looking For:
Corelation is seeking a C++ Software Developer to join its team. In this role, you’ll contribute to building new features and enhancing existing integrations and services. As a Core Developer I, you’ll take part in the full development lifecycle—from gathering requirements and coding to testing and ongoing support.
Requirements:
- Serve as an active member of the implementation team, helping resolve client support issues as needed
- Develop, update, and maintain core C++ applications aligned with client business needs
- Perform functional testing before code reviews and client delivery
- Collaborate with team members to validate project requirements, including objectives, inputs, and outputs
- Modify and improve existing programs to enhance efficiency or meet new requirements
- Ensure quality through thorough testing practices
- Maintain documentation of development work and revisions
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies and occasional weekend client support
- Complete additional related tasks as assigned
Why You Are the Perfect Fit:
- 1–2 years of professional experience in backend software development
- Strong proficiency in C++
- Familiarity with SQL, XML, and AIX or Linux environments
- Understanding of relational databases
- Solid problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of credit union products and services is a plus
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
