Position Title: Senior Marketing Consumer Insights Lead

Airbnb is looking for a Senior Marketing Insights Lead to support its Consumer Insights & Research team. This role acts as the dedicated insights partner for the Marketing organization and helps shape brand strategy, audience understanding, campaign planning, and consumer perception work. The role is focused on turning consumer research and brand data into clear recommendations for Marketing leadership.


Responsibilities


Brand Health & Consumer Insights

Own and evolve Airbnb’s brand health tracking program

Monitor brand equity, perception, and positioning trends

Translate research findings into clear implications for brand and marketing strategy


Marketing Strategy Support

Partner with Marketing leadership as the voice of the consumer

Help embed consumer insights into strategies, briefs, and planning

Support audience understanding and segmentation work


Research Execution

Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research projects

Use methods such as focus groups, interviews, ethnographies, online communities, and surveys

Balance in-house research with vendor-managed projects


Media Measurement & Team Support

Coach and support a direct report who owns media measurement

Connect media performance insights to broader brand strategy

Help translate campaign data into implications for consumer perception


Stakeholder Communication

Prepare and present research findings for senior stakeholders

Turn complex consumer data into concise, actionable narratives

Collaborate with Consumer, Product, and Innovation Insights teams

Qualifications

  1. 12+ years of consumer insights experience
  2. Strong marketing insights background, especially in brand strategy, audience understanding, or marketing effectiveness
  3. Deep experience with brand health tracking and measurement frameworks
  4. Strong audience research and segmentation experience
  5. Familiarity with media measurement and campaign performance analysis
  6. Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods
  7. Strong storytelling and senior stakeholder communication skills
  8. Experience managing and developing individuals
  9. Degree in research, marketing, or social sciences
