Job Description:

Our newest Content Writer is someone who can reliably produce long-form (1500+ words), publication-ready content marketing on core business topics,

related to ManageEngine's core products and services.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)

  1. Contribute to content strategy, track performance, and optimize content for maximum engagement.
  2. Stay updated on industry trends, product news, and insights from analysts and reporters.
  3. Write engaging content, including blog posts, articles, interviews, and product updates.
  4. Work closely with product and creative teams to produce content and multimedia (scripts, blogs, podcasts).
  5. Build industry relationships.

Qualifications

  1. 3-5 years' proven experience in content writing, preferably in tech or SaaS.
  2. Strong writing and research skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  3. Familiarity with SEO and content performance tracking.

What are we looking for?

Research – You will take on new content projects that are potentially far outside of your core experience or expertise. As such, you will need to happily dive into available educational resources (blogs, webinars, online courses, etc.), sort the good from the bad, and come up with your own unique take.

Write – You will be responsible for independently shepherding articles from ideation to outline to finished draft. Your writing must be clear, persuasive, professional, and publication-ready.

Edit – Exceptional grammar and a strong instinct for written structure are crucial for this role. Not only will you be expected to independently produce near-perfect drafts of your own articles, you will also be responsible for providing feedback on articles written by your colleagues.

Teach – Our mission is to teach core business practices to readers of different skill levels, ranging from beginner to advanced. A successful writer for this team must be comfortable explaining complex concepts clearly and concisely, taking into account the audience the piece is targeted at.

Curate – In addition to your own new content, you will also be asked to assess, revise, organize, and repackage existing content written by other teams into new forms and mediums. You should bring a critical eye to evaluate large volumes of content as well as a clear vision for what the end product should look like.

Compensation and Terms

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year. Permanent employees are offered a full suite of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance as well as a company-sponsored 401k.
