As a Content Marketer, you will play a crucial role in driving brand awareness, engaging our audiences, generating leads and converting both B2C and B2C prospects through compelling and strategic content. This is a wide-ranging role that incorporates researching, planning, creating, and distributing content for all marketing channels, including print, digital, video, social media and email marketing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with our company's goals and objectives.
- Create high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly content across various channels, including blog posts, articles, social media, videos, infographics, and email campaigns.
- Serve as copywriter for the corporate marketing division, creating copy for print and digital ads, video scripts, social media and email, promoting subscription and advertising products with our brand voice to fit various audience needs.
- Conduct thorough research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities to ensure content relevance and differentiation.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to create and execute campaigns that effectively promote our products/services and drive traffic, engagement, leads and conversions.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and employ best practices to increase organic visibility and website traffic.
- Monitor content performance and leverage analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of content strategies and make data-driven improvements.
- Manage and maintain our content calendars, ensuring a consistent flow of quality content that resonates with our target audiences.
- Stay informed about emerging content marketing trends, technologies, and platforms, and provide recommendations for incorporating them into our marketing efforts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external contributors to gather insights and create valuable content that meets the needs of our audience.
- Develop a deep familiarity with our products, their core features and benefits to our customers.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of our brand voice, tone, and style guidelines.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least 5+ years of relevant work experience as a Writer or Content Marketer using a variety of channels.
- A strong, versatile portfolio of writing samples and of successful content marketing campaigns is required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Strong understanding of content marketing principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive content with our brand voice and various audience needs.
- Proficiency in SEO techniques and experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics tools.
- Expert knowledge of social media platforms, content distribution, and amplification strategies.
- Highly creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to generate fresh ideas and unique content angles.
- Detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, talk, hear, use hands to fingers, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance and stoop.
- Occasionally required to lift and /or move up to 25 pounds.
- Required to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
