What Your Day Will Look Like

  1. Create compelling content in a variety of forms (webpage copy, blog posts, emails, digital ad copy, newsletters, flyers, brochures, and more) that speaks to our audience of K-12 administrators and educators and helps us stand out from the crowd.
  2. Brainstorm and collaborate with product marketers and designers to ensure cohesive content delivery for multi-channel campaigns.
  3. Partner with the product marketing team to maintain consistent messaging across ads, landing pages, collateral, blogs, whitepapers, success stories, etc.
  4. Lead and complete writing projects that include multiple rounds of review with various stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  5. Work on building and updating campaign assets in our marketing automation platform, HubSpot.
  6. Leverage data to continuously improve the performance of the content you create, including optimizing content for SEO.
  7. Think outside the box and strategize new ways of using content to engage our audience.

What Should Be In Your Bookbag

  1. Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  2. 2 years of Marketing experience
  3. Proven track record in content marketing and copywriting, with a portfolio showcasing a range of content types, such as ad copy, emails, blog posts, newsletters, video scripts, collateral, etc.
  4. Demonstrated ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and goals, effectively tailoring content to resonate with K-12 administrators and educators.
  5. Deep understanding of educators current needs and trends in the education industry.
  6. Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience optimizing content for search engines, driving organic traffic, and improving online visibility.
  7. Proven ability to blend UX writing with SEO and accessibility practices to create content that resonates with a diverse audience.
  8. Experience leveraging data analysis tools like HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Semrush in making data-backed decisions to optimize content effectiveness.
  9. Experience working in HubSpot or similar marketing automation systems.
  10. Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple writing projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
