We’re looking for a ROCKSTAR CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER to join our rapidly growing team and help elevate NMG to the forefront of the marketing industry! Primary Responsibilities:
- Set content goals (e.g., lead generation, brand awareness, engagement) and track performance against KPIs.
- Manage content calendars to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content across all channels (social media platforms, websites, email campaigns, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, writers, and videographer/editor teams to create compelling content.
- Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve organic reach.
- Oversee and drive strategy for email campaigns to engage subscribers, nurture leads, and promote customer retention through targeted, personalized content. Ensure campaigns are aligned with overall marketing goals and optimized for maximum engagement and conversions.
- Ensure all content is consistent with the company’s brand voice, tone, and style.
- Manage a team of content creators, copywriters, contractors, etc., to ensure content quality and consistency.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company’s overall marketing goals, business objectives, and target audience.
- Work closely with key stakeholders (including CSS, production, operations and design teams) to plan and prioritize content initiatives.
- Review and approve final content before publication, ensuring that it is high-quality, accurate, and aligns with the campaign objectives.
- Provide mentorship and feedback to team members, ensuring continuous development and the production of high-quality content.
- Prepare and present regular reports to key stakeholders, showing content performance and impact on marketing goals.
- Maintain brand integrity and consistency across all platforms, campaigns and assets.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 2 years in content marketing, digital marketing, or a related field, with demonstrated success in developing and executing content strategies.
- Experience in managing a team, especially a cross-functional team that includes graphic designers, copywriters, and social media managers.
- Proficiency with graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), or similar tools to create visually engaging content.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain a consistent tone and voice across all content.
- Extensive experience with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and the ability to optimize content for each.
- A creative mindset, with the ability to generate innovative ideas and produce unique, engaging content.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time-management skills to keep projects on track and deliver high-quality results on time.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to overcome challenges and find creative solutions to complex content issues.
- Email Marketing Expertise: Proficient in using email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp (or similar), with a strong understanding of creating, managing, and optimizing email campaigns.
