Position Overview

As a Content Development Associate, you will work closely with the content development and product teams to research, develop, write, and review a broad spectrum of both print and digital curricular resources and supporting materials. You will stay up to date with best practices and current research for children ages birth to third grade and lend a critical eye to content creation to ensure that all products stay true to the voice, core values, and mission of Teaching Strategies and that it best supports the teachers, administrators, families, and children who we serve.

Specific Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Researches, develops, writes, and reviews curricular products and materials
  • Provides content knowledge and expertise to various cross-departmental projects and initiatives
  • Maintains the vision and voice of curricular products
  • Helps develop and maintain timelines for product development
  • Communicates efficiently across teams in-person, virtually, and in writing

Qualifications:

  • Three to five years teaching experience in early childhood; additional specialty in a domain of early childhood preferred (g., early literacy, special education, curriculum and instruction, etc.)
  • Bachelor's Degree; preferably in early childhood education
  • Strong writing skills
  • Working general knowledge of Teaching Strategies products strongly preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Apple products
