Our mission is to leverage advanced technology to enhance the affordability and readiness of defense systems, ensuring superior mission effectiveness for our clients.

The Business Analyst plays a key role in documenting technical processes, ensuring system compliance, and supporting the integration and migration of Windchill PLM solutions. This role involves extensive technical writing, process documentation, and collaboration with engineers and stakeholders to support the implementation and operation of enterprise PLM systems for U.S. Department of Defense customers. The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience working in a similar capacity on any large enterprise system implementation/integration project specific to engineering or manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  1. Author, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical manuals, and process documentation.
  2. Develop and update system specifications, business process workflows, and data migration plans.
  3. Assist in data analysis and validation efforts to ensure data integrity and consistency within Windchill PLM.
  4. Support the development of test cases and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and business requirements.
  5. Collaborate with development teams to track and document enhancements, issues, and resolution.
  6. Prepare reports, presentations, and technical briefs for internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Ensure compliance with industry best practices, DoD software policies, and DoD documentation standards.
  8. Maintain document repositories and version control using tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or Windchill.
  9. Support training initiatives by developing user guides, training materials, and instructional content.

Required Experience:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, technical writing, or documentation within an engineering, manufacturing, or software development environment.
  2. Strong technical writing skills with experience in developing SOPs, process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and documentation tools such as Confluence or SharePoint.
  4. Experience working on an enterprise application implementation such as PLM, ERP, MRP, DevSecOps, or CRM.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other Engineering discipline.

  3. Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and tools such as Jira.
  4. Knowledge of DoD software development policies, requirements and artifacts like Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Software Design Description (SDD), Interface Design Description (IDD), Software Development Plan (SDP), Interface Control Document (ICD), etc.
  5. Understanding of data migration and system integration concepts.
  6. Experience with XML, JSON, or scripting languages for data formatting and transformation.
  7. Familiarity with Configuration Status Accounting and/or Provisioning processes in the US DoD or equivalent military industrial supplier or platform owner.
  8. Experience with at least one PLM application like Windchill, Teamcenter, Arena, Oracle PLM, Enovia, etc.
