This position is responsible for working in multiple areas of the bank, including retail operations, lending and credit to gain experience and exposure to general bank operations.
Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Provide exceptional customer service through quality conversations and efficient and accurate process of customer transactions.
2. Provide accurate information to customers based on product and service knowledge and understanding of the banking industry. Frequently communicate with customers and employees in person or by phone and exchange accurate information in these situations.
3. Handle financial transactions efficiently and effectively with all customers (including, but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, advances, loan payments and merchant transactions). Maintain a balanced cash drawer. Perform ITM duties in applicable markets.
4. Provide support to Loan Officers and the lending team as part of the rotation of duties of the internship. This will include a variety of items (review of financial documents, spreadsheets and supporting collateral, to name a few).
5. A variety of tasks from various functional areas of the bank as needed.
6. The opportunity to observe and participate in bank events as part of building business relationships.
7. Duties as assigned throughout the internship period will vary, depending on customer and business needs.
