We are currently seeking an Audio Engineer to join our post-production audio team. The role requires the ability to work to deadlines in a high volume, detail-focused environment, and a broad knowledge of all aspects of audio in a post-production environment.
Responsibilities
- Archive audio from multiple media formats (16mm mag, ¼” audio, DAT, mini-disc) to DaVinci Resolve/Fairlight workstations and attached storage system.
- Posting media to an Avid Interplay system.
- Coordinate Syncing of all daily camera footage with audio files and render new files.
- Restore damaged analog media and transfer to new formats.
- Edit select plays from game Radio broadcasts and post to Avid Interplay System
- Manage and traffic audio data through an established distribution network
- Coordinate and manage off-site data storage updates
- Assist Post-Mixers with Track Preparation, PFX and Dialogue editing, and SFX placement.
Required Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of Digital Audio Workstations (DAW) with experience in Resolve/Fairlight systems a plus.
- Background in general aspects of digital audio recording, editing and mixing.
- Proficient at using multiple computer platforms and file management.
- Availability to work on weekends during the NFL season
Preferred Qualifications
- 4-year degree or equivalent education
- 3 years of experience in Post-Production Audio environment
