Location: Remote or Hybrid (based on proximity to our Malvern, PA or East Windsor, NJ locations)

Full Time: Monday through Friday – 9:00am to 5:00pm

Salary: Commensurate with experience

We are currently seeking an Associate Digital Editor for our Oncology Learning Network. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional work in digital publishing. You do NOT need to have a medical or scientific background, but a passion for healthcare is a strong plus. You will join a high-performing team providing education to clinicians.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate with editorial team to produce e-newsletters and schedule social media posts to drive readers to our website and engage them with our content.
  2. Develop content as needed and directed, including but not limited to news summaries, interviews, videos, and podcasts.
  3. Research and monitor trends in the field to identify topics of interest to audience.
  4. Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders.
  5. Responsible for website content uploads and oversight of maintenance, e-newsletters, social media, and other platforms along with post-campaign reporting and metrics.
  6. Copyedit and proofread articles and press releases as assigned.
  7. Identify and report on top-performing content and overall performance.
  8. Establish and maintain positive relationships with editorial team, sales team, and other HMP resources such as media production, marketing, and project managers.
  9. Manage paid digital advertising campaigns on social media.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of a 4-year college degree in a related field (Journalism, English, Biomedical Science, etc.).
  2. Minimum 2 years of professional experience in medical publishing.
  3. Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills.
  4. Familiar with AMA style or similar style guides.
  5. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  6. Familiar with camera equipment and editing software (Camtasia).
  7. Prior experience with Airable or similar platform (preferred).
  8. Knowledge of SEO best practices and HTML (preferred).
  9. Comfort with digital platforms; knowledge of content management systems.
  10. Understanding of digital content strategies.
  11. Proficiency in multimedia content development and editing.
  12. Must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time with tight deadlines.
  13. Strong organizational skills.
  14. Good interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
  15. Travel to conferences and events as directed by management – 4-6 times per year.

The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In Colorado, New York City, California, and Washington, the expected compensation for this role is between $55,000.00 and $60,000.00. Benefits for this role include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term, and long-term disability, and life insurance.
