Key member of the Global Risk Management team, responsible for risk management support of McKesson Corporation operations. Addresses business unit risk management needs to support insurance placements, loss mitigation, contractual risk transfer and claims management. This role has high visibility to business partners and will be expected to exhibit technical acumen, cultural adeptness and a proactive customer centric focused approach in supporting Company’s risk management philosophy.

Achieve and support strategic objectives in ensuring effective risk management for the company via insurance, loss control and contractual risk transfer. Responsibility includes supporting all aspects of the insurance programs, incident management and claim reporting and assisting with insurance placements, including collection, review, assessment and validation of the operational exposure information, as well as preparation of the underwriter submission and presentation.
 

  • Collect and analyze renewal exposures and data tracking. Responsible for ensuring policy documentation and billing statements for all insurance programs are collected, accurate, and processed in a timely fashion. Manage timely issuance of documentation in support of the insurance programs, including insurance certificates and auto ID cards. Lead surety bonds and NDA programs.
  • Support contractual risk transfer by reviewing insurance language and providing recommendations for business agreements, as well as contract review streamlining initiatives such as development of standard requirements and templates, as necessary. Deliver necessary training to key stakeholders.
  • Act as the key liaison between the business units and the risk management group by promoting a positive environment of collaboration and excellent customer service. Provide support and demonstrate risk awareness within the organization. Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned, including backup of others in the department as necessary.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Risk Management intranet and RMIS system and associated reporting. Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned, including backup of others in the department as necessary.

     

Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

Education/Training –

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a strong preference in Risk Management, Finance, Business or other applicable field.

Business Experience –

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience with proven insurance or risk management industry experience. Multinational corporate experience a plus.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills –
 

  • Experience in supporting insurance placements and loss control programs.
  • Experience in incident reporting and claims management.
  • Experience with contract review.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently.
  • Technical skills – Excel, PowerPoint, RIMS systems, with analytical mindset
  • Adaptable to a changing and dynamic environment.
  • Motivated and customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communicator (both verbal and written)

    Our Base Pay Range for this position

    $71,300 - $118,800
