Nectar is a marketing agency Nectar that provides account management services for established consumer brands on the Amazon marketplace. Nectar also develops websites for its clients and manages clients’ paid and email marketing.

Description of the Role

Our Brand Management department focuses on guiding partners through their e-commerce journey. If Amazon is a jungle, you are the tour guide. As an Amazon Brand Manager, you will be responsible for directing clients through the onboarding process, managing their catalog on Amazon, conducting status calls, coordinating with the advertising, SEO, copy, and graphic design teams, and generally spearheading the growth of our clients’ businesses on Amazon. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be adaptable, self-sufficient, and diplomatic.

You must have experience working on Amazon seller or vendor accounts. If you do not have experience working in Seller or Vendor Central, your application will not be considered.

You are a great fit for this role if you have strong attention to detail, enjoy the autonomy to take ownership of your work, like to quarterback your department’s initiatives, and work well with others to build and improve processes.

This is a fully remote position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Communicate regularly with clients about deliverables
  • Coordinate with copy, advertising, and graphic design departments to launch new clients and new products for existing clients;
  • Conduct bi-weekly status calls with clients
  • Prepare written status reports
  • Track sales metrics to identify optimizations to ensure that clients meet sales goals
  • Conduct regular audits of accounts to identify areas of improvement to task to different teams.
  • Regularly review customer feedback and communicate with team members for product development needs
  • Manage a team of virtual assistants (remote workers) working underneath you to perform supporting tasks such as monitoring for unauthorized sellers, creating inventory file templates, performing FBA fee audits, etc.
  • Developing written standard operating procedures in order to delegate certain tasks to the virtual assistants.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Amazon Seller Central or Amazon Vendor Central.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while following overall management strategy.
  • Tech savvy (proficient in Google Workspace applications).
  • Ability to adapt and respond to multiple incoming requests and shifting priorities.
  • Must have a laptop/computer with two monitors, keyboard/mouse, webcam/microphone, speakers, quiet personal workspace, and stable internet connection.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000 based on experience.
  • You are also eligible for an end-of-year performance bonus of up to 10% of your salary based on your performance and the company’s performance.
  • You will receive a minimum of one compensation review per 12 months.
  • This is a salaried remote position at 40 hours per week.
  • You will be eligible for employer-provided health, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days.
  • Nectar provides a 401k plan with an employer match component after 60 days.
  • Nectar provides each team member with a $200 annual office stipend after 60 days of employment.
  • You will receive 15 full days of PTO in your first full year after 60 days of employment; and 20 days of PTO in your second full year of employment.
  • Nectar is closed for 8 days per year, which includes 7 Federal holidays and Black Friday. We also offer 2 flexible holidays that can be used for Presidents Day, Juneteenth, or Columbus Day.
  • Nectar provides each team member with a $200 annual office stipend after 90 days of employment.
  • Nectar provides summer Fridays (sign off at 2:00 p.m. local time) between Memorial Day and Labor Day).
