At Georgia Regional Behavioral Services, you will be a part of a team making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and special needs. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for our clients by creating treatment programs that build off of each child’s specific skills and interests.

Responsibilities:
You will protect the company’s assets and ensure compliance with ABA best practices. You primary duties include ensuring compliance with internal standards and checking records and documentation. This is a contract/seasonal position available to start October 1st, 2023.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of internal audits, including risk management, financial accountability, and compliance with best practices
  • Plan and schedule annual audits, and develop a calendar for audits identify where audit processes are breaking down and create plans to improve overall compliance
  • Communicate audit finding and approach the appropriate employee to retrieve and file documentation
  • Create HR Knowledgable Documents
  • Adminstrative Task
  • Making phone calls to caregivers
  • Dealing with medical information
  • File Documents

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting or a related field
  • Experience as an auditor
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and accounting software
  • Knowledge of auditing standards on both the national and state level
  • Ability to analyze data
  • Good written communication skills
  • Experience as a manager or team leader
  • Punctual and attentive to detail
  • Knowledgable in the ABA field

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation preferred
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and financial management practices
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in using financial software applications and Microsoft Office Suite
