Role:

Do you have significant expertise and knowledge in developing and operating Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) programs? Join us in our goal to provide exceptional ABA therapy and make a difference in the lives of those we serve! We are seeking an ABA Program Implementation Consultant to serve as a subject matter expert as we expand our client's services by building a premier ABA program.

The consultant’s key responsibilities include assisting in obtaining program licensure, staff recruitment efforts, and providing guidance and recommendations for implementing best practices in delivering ABA therapy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience administering ABA programs in Virginia and a deep understanding of licensing requirements, compliance with state laws, and working with individuals with ASD. The Kairos Group is seeking a Consultant with this exceptional skillset to lead our team on this journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development/Implementation

  • Serve as subject matter expert on the development of the program.
  • Make recommendations to assist in strategically growing the program’s ABA services in the local market (Hampton Roads, VA)
  • Collaborate with the CEO & COO on all aspects of program development.

Compliance and Licensing

  • Assist the program with obtaining licensure with DBHDS.
  • Make recommendations that set the program up for success and future accreditation from BHCOE or CARF.

Policy and Procedure Development

  • Write program policies, procedures and manuals.
  • Ensure policies, procedures and manuals meet all regulatory and licensing requirements

Training and Staff Development

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to provide quality ABA services.
  • Collaborate with HR on attracting and recruiting top clinical talent, developing/writing job descriptions and hiring personnel, onboarding, and training.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Required Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Supervisory Experience: Minimum-3 years of supervisory experience

  • Strong knowledge of ABA licensing/compliance requirements and a thorough understanding of Virginia State laws and regulations as it pertains to operating ABA programs.
  • Successful track record of Virginia ABA program licensing reviews
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and professional integrity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) & Google Suite.
