Experience:

• 3+ years' health/medical writing experience; 2+ years' SEO-specific writing experience.

The SEO writer will be responsible for:

• Writing well-researched articles that incorporate SEO best practices and follow BioNews editorial standards.
• Working closely with our science editors, copy editors, and illustrators to create unique medical content in the rare disease space.
• Conducting interviews with members of the research and patient communities to provide supporting details and additional perspectives in articles.
• Updating existing content with a focus on including the most up-to-date research and improving it from an SEO standpoint.
• Undertaking keyword research and using SEO tools to produce high-ranking content.
• Attending editorial meetings to provide updates on current writing projects and suggest future content ideas.
